Shooting - The Killing Game
http://www.league.org.uk/content.asp?CategoryID=1512
Every year 'chums with guns' inflict needless suffering for the sake
of fun
Millions of game birds are reared each year, often in appalling,
battery conditions, for the sole purpose of being hunted; and the
misery doesn't end there. All kinds of wildlife suffer at the hands of
the shoot in the name of predator control.
Considering the fatal nature of sports-shooting, it is highly
unregulated with no formal training process required. Children as
young as nine have been granted a gun licence. Are these unchecked,
murderous activities really a fair use of the countryside for
everyone?
Take Action!
There are lots of simple ways to get active and help the campaign.
